Type of Service: Tree limb removal
Feedback: Thanks for the excellent removal of 2 Mountain Ash limbs. The one was over the house and you waited for the ground to be firm enough to not leave marks. The second limb was in the back yard were you couldn't get to it with the truck and had to do it all by climbing in the tree. Everything was cleaned up as if you were not there at all. Great job.

Feedback: Had a dying maple removed from the back yard, 10 feet from a chain link fence, it's stump ground down and a flowering crab tree pruned. My neighbor had a very large locus tree removed, stump ground and a birch tree pruned. All the work was done in 5.5 hours with a crew of 4. They did what was quoted and then some. All crew members were courteous and willing to do what ever to please. They were very efficient and cleaned up all branches and chips. I would recommend them to anyone.

Feedback: First off, I'm an actual homeowner in the Madison Area and this is the first time I've written a review because the service I received from Nikolas was that good. We had a sickly tree in our front yard and had several quotes. Nikolas was the only one to meet us in person and quoted us at HALF of what 2 other nearby tree service companies did. His guys arrived on-time exactly the day they promised. I managed to watch them for a bit and took note of how careful they were not just of my property, but my neighbors as well. When they were done, they did a decent job cleaning up the yard and left without issue. A few weeks later, I called Nikolas to pay him and he insisted that he drive to my house to pick up the cash payment in person as he didn't want me to have to drive to the east side. All in all, if I could rate him 6 stars, I would. I'll be recommending him to my friends and neighbors.

Feedback: We contacted Nikolajs about an estimate to remove a large dead elm in our back yard. There is no access for big equipment so the tree would need to come down and hauled away by hand. His bid was $500 lower than the next closest bid. ,,He and his crew showed up exactly when promised and worked tirelessly until the tree was down, the wood removed and the property cleaned up. Feedback: My tree was a 70-80 year old maple that was growing over the house and toward the garage and a 50ft pine that was growing up aginst the house. I was called 2 days before they came so I was ready. They showed up right on time with all their equipment ready to go. The big branches were lowered down by cable and the small stuff was growned up into mulch. They did such a good job they didn't even leave a dent in my yard. Clean up was great, all the wood was taken away. They even let me keep the mulch so I didn't have to buy any this year. I was really happy with their service and would recommend them to everyone!!!

Others quotes were based on the number of limbs trimmed. Nikolas bid on did not limit the amount of work. He exceeded the amount of work that other services mentioned. Feedback: Top notch service all the way around. I was recommended to Nikolajs by my neighbor who could not stop saying good things. I had been wishing for the survival of very large and old maple in my front yard but when I got up one morning to the sight of a 10 foot rotten branch on the ground I knew the fight was over. Nikolajs came out got me a quote at the same time and let me know when he could do the work. The company was busy as winter was coming and he was very commutative as to when they would be able to get to me. He also made the arrangements to have MG&E remove the power line to my house as it was treaded through the trees. The was work was completed as promised while I was away in Europe for 2-weeks. Brilliant!

Feedback: From the moment I met Nikolas, I was comfortable with him and knew I would be hiring him for the job of cutting down three trees and trimming two large trees. After a disappointing meeting with one other company, I was immediately impressed with how Nikolas took his time and answered all my questions fully as we walked around the property. His confidence in his answers showed me that he did indeed know what he was talking about. He even pointed out that a tree I was considering having trimmed was dying and it would be a waste of money to trim it because it would eventually need to be removed anyhow. The other company just said they would trim it and then see what happens with it. The cost of that trimming would have been wasted money.It was impressive to watch Nikolas and his men work. I liked that although Nikolas has confidence in his team, he keeps a personal eye on the work they are doing. He is obviously very conscientious and cares about how well the job is done. After what must have been an exhausting full day of cutting and trimming, the crew cleaned up so well you would hardly know they had been there. There was no coming back another day to finish the job. It was all taken care of before they left that day. Very impressive. ,Yes, Nikolas? fees are very reasonable and even lower than the other company I had talked with. But more importantly for me was how personable Nikolas is (He even let me know when he had to leave after the cutting was done to go do some estimates, but assured me his crew knew what they were doing with the clean up) and his knowledge. I knew I could trust him to do a good job. Which he certainly did. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did and highly recommend him and his team to do any job, be it big or small.

Feedback: The tree that came down was in a bad spot to work on. Between houses, fences a pool and a big garden. Nikolas' Tree Service got their equipment in and began to work. I never knew there were companies out there that were so good, and valued the surroundings as much as them. When they left it looked like no one had even been there....the yard was almost cleaner than when they came. The only difference was the dangerous tree was now on the ground. And What an awesome job for a more than fair price. I would recommend them to anyone!

Not only did he give me a reasonable estimate, but he also cut down two trees and expertly pruned an overgrown crab tree that very morning! Feedback: Nikolas and two helpers came to the house when they said they would, went right to work,and carefully trimmed dead and superfluous branches from a dozen back yard trees. I was especially impressed by the care given to the last survivor of our American Elms, three of which were killed by Dutch Elm Disease two years ago. Some changes in the estimate were needed when our neighbor asked us not to take out one unattractive tree and Nikolas was very agreeable to adjusting the price. The total cost was very reasonable. The crew cleaned up, left the chipped wood for compost and branches for firewood as I requested, and completed the job in less than one day. This is the second time Nikolas has cared for our trees. Thanks, Nikolas and crew. If we need further help with our trees, we'll be sure to call you.
